May 29 - July 8, Time in the MTC

We made history on May 29, 2013 when I went into the new MTC in Provo.  This is the first group to enter this new MTC.  I hope the food is as good as I hear it is in the old MTC!
This is my first companion.  His name is Elder Bogel  and he is from North Carolina.  He is a new convert of just a year and he is very solid in the gospel!  I'm sure I will learn a lot from him.  Teaching is very intimidating.  I know I will need to just open my mouth and the Lord will bless me but I don't want to say the wrong thing.

This is an elder in my district.  He is a stud!  He played football for Dixie State.  He will be a great missionary.  He is a great example to me!

This is the rebel who came to the temple and did baptisms for the dead while he was up in Spanish Fork.  It just happened to be the same day that I go to the temple and we just ran into each other!  One of my best friends for sure.

A day at the temple with my companion.  The temple is one of the best places to be to feel the spirit.

If you saw the worldwide missionary broadcast, you may have seen me singing in the choir.  Now we all know I am not a singer, but the whole district wanted to be in the choir and I couldn't be the party pooper!  I understand you could see me in the closing song a few times singing Called to Serve.  It was an awesome experience and I am glad I did it.

These are all the missionaries in my district.  Spanish is coming along slowly.  I will be happy when I can understand everything and also be able to speak fluently!

This is my typical lunch everyday.  Not as good as the old MTC!  No, I am not losing weight.  I just have to eat a lot more to get my fill.

These are all the missionaries in my district.  We are all going to the same mission.  It is going to be a great experience but I do have to say I am very nervous!  I just found out my mission president doesn't know English.  I am grateful for the Lord because he is going to have to step in to help me out.
